Google Play on Android now showing numerical ratings in app listings
Google has long had star ratings for apps in the Play Store, but today El Goog is changing up how those ratings are displayed.
Google appears to have quietly rolled out a new way to display star ratings on pages with lists of apps. Previously, each entry would display 5 stars, with the rating shown by filling in the appropriate number of stars. That’s now changing, with Google opting instead to display a number along with a single star to show an app’s rating. To see the old method of displaying ratings, check out the image below.
