Fujifilm FinePix S1 a prosumer camera with weather resistant protection

There are many surprises in early 2014, you will be flooded with various types of digital cameras, like the Kodak have launched the Kodak S1, with a 65x superzoom lens.
Meanwhile, Fujifilm also unveiled Fujifilm FinePix S1. Although this camera does not have a zoom lens ranges like the Kodak S1, but Fujifilm S1 has another feature that will attract your attention.

Featuring 70 water/dust seals, the S1 lens specs out at the 35mm equivalent of 24-1200mm (50X fuji zoom lens) expandable to 100x using Fuji’s 2x Intelligent Digital Zoom at an aperture range of f/2.8-5.6 and 16.4MP 1/2.3” CMOS sensor. It has 5-axis lens-shift image stabilization for sharper shots especially at the longer end of the focal range, and consists of 2 aspherical and 4 ED elements, 13 elements in 11 groups, for sharp image quality with minimal flare. You can use a 3-inch Vari-Angle 920K-dot LCD, a 0.2-inch 920K-dot EVF, 0.14 second AF, and a Time-Lapse mode.

This camera also has built-in WiFi for image sharing and remote shooting via the Fujifilm Camera Remote app. The Fujifilm FinePix S1 can be operated remotely via Wi-Fi and smartphone or tablet. Your photos can be easily transferred from the camera to your smartphone, tablet and other mobile device or computer.
The FilePix S1 is resistant (not proof) against rain and dust, making it more versatile than other typical superzoom camera. It could be said FinePix S1 included in group of prosumer cameras which is ideal for a wide range of photographic needs.

The FinePix S1 is not the first 50x optical zoom camera, but with a dust and water resistant features will definitely fit if you use for a vacation to beautiful places such as Bali, National Park in Africa or anywhere else. FinePix S1 also certainly fit for a family occasion and support your business and social activities.

Fujifilm X-E1 compare to Nikon D600 and Canon EOS 5D Mark III

If you have plans to buy a new camera, but the small body size, and of course you take it to the light to go, then you need to consider the Fujifilm X-E1, although it is now available X-E2, but certainly more economical if you buy a series previously. You need to know, that there is a test from DSLR Magazine comparing the mirrorless camera to the Fuji X-E1 Full Frame DSLR camera Nikon D600 and Canon 5D Mk. III.
And photographs that produced by Fuji X-1 was very good and on par with the Canon EOS 5D Mk III and Nikon D600. However, it should be noted that this is only a comparison of the quality of the image or images, and do not take into account the overall performance of the camera, such as ergonomic aspects, AF speed, battery lifetime and other features. Is not the ultimate goal of a camera is the result of a good photo?
There are photographers who say that the Fuji X-E1 autofocus is actually quite fast, but somewhat troublesome because only a single point. This causes the user must use the shift key. Could have used a new sliding lockable focus the camera to adjust the composition but still not fast enough. My wishlist from Fuji X-E1 is like the Sony NEX 5N autofocus, which can recognize faces and tracking objects with the touch of a finger. Peaking focus is also useful if the manual focus. Third capabilities or features were unfortunately not be found in Fuji. It is understandable because the Fujifilm X-E1 is minimalist camera, but with proper use you can generate thousands of good photos from this kemara.
Unlike the X-Pro1 with hybrid multi viewfinder, the X-E1 camera boasts an OLED electronic viewfinder with 2.36 million dot resolution, making it one of the highest resolutions available on digital cameras with EVFs.

Fujifilm X-E1 features the same 16.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor as the FUJIFILM X-Pro1. To satisfy your creativity as a photographer, then the X-E1 offers Fujifilm's creative "Film Simulation Mode" to simulate the distinctive textures of conventional photo film.
Use high saturation "Velvia" for landscape images with stunning primary colors, "ASTIA" for faithful reproduction of subtle color and more flexible "Provia" to see nature, as well as two additional settings based on professional color negative films. Neg.Std PRO PRO Neg.Hi soft and sharp tonal suitable for both indoor portrait photography. Three types of simulations Filters are also available for monochrome and sepia look. Before you buy this camera, you can compare Fujifilm EX-1 with the Samsung NX 300 or Sony RX100 and Olympus Olympus OMD EM-5, even with other DSLR cameras such as the Nikon D3300 or Canon EOS 650D.
