Shortcomings, at D7100 LCD screen cannot be folded and no touch screen features (touchscreen). Does not have Wi-Fi feature on and slow autofocus during live view or video recording.
As with any other Nikon DSLR, the Nikon D7100 is very good to use for landscape photography and to shoot model in open spaces such as beaches, mountains, and even many Crime Scene Investigation laboratory using Nikon to photograph evidence in crime scene.
Both cameras are indeed interesting and sophisticated. You can buy both or one of them. If you can get to know your camera like you get to know your sweetheart, then you can use a Canon or Nikon with equally perfect results, especially now that has provided a variety of software to perform digital processing, so that your creativity is not limited. You can make a variety of creative and beautiful art photos and videos without problems.
